Whey proteins

This is a protein present in milk and plays a key role in accelerating the production of proteins. It is one of the best proteins when it comes to building muscle mass.

Apart from its muscle generation benefits, it is preferred for its high absorption rates into the muscles. It promotes the flowing of blood in the muscles due to its peptide content. For best results, whey protein powder or whey protein supplements should be taken after a workout session. This will help in the repair of any of the damaged muscle tissues. A portion of this dosage can be taken before the work out and the rest afterwards. Muscle growth will also be stimulated with taking the supplement after waking up.

The production process of muscles is triggered by the amino acids found in whey protein. After working out, it will keep the level of testosterone maintained rather than having them reduce. One will not just need whey containing products but products that contain whey proteins of high quality too. This makes sure that one benefits fully from the protein.

Go for a concentrate of whey proteins rather than an isolate. This is because the isolates will loose important nutrients during processing that are very essential. They are in addition too acidic because the alkalizing minerals are also lost.

Too much consumption of these isolates in effort to build muscle will have the muscles and bone tissues wasting instead. The best whey products are those that are made from raw milk, contain no hormones, and are soluble in water with no artificial sweetening. They should in addition not been processed through heating. The more the protein has been broken down, the faster it will take to digest.

Other proteins to consider include:

Creatine
Creatine has been found to raise energy levels as well as muscle weight. The muscles are able to perform much better as they are more energized. It stimulates the development of muscles by raising the amount of insulin in the system. It in addition keeps the muscle tissues hydrated.

Casein
Casein can be used together with whey for use after training. It is quite effective when it comes to promotion of muscle growth.

Soy proteins
Soy proteins will not digest as fast but will have the hormones responsible for growth increased. It in addition helps to restore damaged muscles.

Consistency and always following instructions when it comes to protein powder and supplements for muscle building is key to getting the full health benefits.

@PilotCube ______1/30,000____ chance of catching salmonella, which is also
reduced by buying organic. I’ve been drinking raw eggs with powerlifting
since high school, 4 years ago and have never been sick. Went out and got
cream and rice wine vinegar to try this and it’s much better than plain.
Tastes buttery, actually don’t have to pump yourself up to chug it. MAN UP!
    Hell yea Elliott.

    I do something similar…use 5 eggs, 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, 1
cup of water, 1.5 scoops of chocolate whey protein. Nutrition facts = 65
grams of protein, around 35 grams of fat, and essentially 0 carbs. I do
this for breakfast and then post workout. I like it cuz it is easier to get
more eggs into my diet than eating them cooked.

Yo elliott great recipe and is there any danger having this shake 4 times a
    week?

  9. Dominic Henderson July 23, 2013 at 9:08 am #

I like trying a variation of brands. I haven’t seen one kind of protein dominate the other unless you really increase your intake of it.

just made this now – the vinegar seems to cut through the flavour quite
    well, makes it less rich
